LED panel light color guide

Choosing LED panel light color (Kelvin)

The color temperature of LED lighting is expressed in Kelvin (K). The lower the Kelvin value, the warmer (more yellow/amber) the light looks. The higher the Kelvin value, the cooler and crisper the light appears. Which color you need depends on where you install the LED panels and how the space is used.

In our range you’ll find LED panels in several light colors:

- 3000K – warm white
- 4000K – neutral white (daylight look)
- 6000K and 6500K – cool white

3000K (warm white) LED panel

Warm white lighting is perceived as cozy and atmospheric—ideal for creating a welcoming feel. You’ll often see this color where ambience matters more than task lighting.

Typical applications: lobbies/entrance halls, restaurants, hotels, offices (reception and lounge areas), retail, schools, clothing stores, cafeterias.

4000K (neutral daylight) LED panel

4000K is our most popular panel color. It delivers a fresh, productive environment, supports alertness, and keeps you active—hence it’s the go-to for most workspaces.

Typical applications: offices, classrooms, showrooms, kitchen & bathroom showrooms, bicycle shops, sports halls.

6000K & 6500K (cool white) LED panel

Cool white panels are used where maximum visibility and crisp light are essential. They’re common in clinical or precision environments and areas for detailed assembly work.

Typical applications: hospitals, laboratories, dental clinics, workshops, assembly lines, garages.
