Features of a country table lamp

Rural table lamps can often be recognized by their natural appearance and shapes. They are not busy, messy and separate lamps but quiet, atmospheric lamps. We often see that the rural table lamp has round shapes, such as the lampshades. Also in colors, the table lamp with country style is not exuberant, it often has only one or two colors. Taupe, cream, gray and white are popular colors here.

Modern country table lamps

An interior style that we see more and more is "modern rural living". This living style is still about the peace and the natural atmosphere of the interior, but it is combined with the modern style. A rural table lamp therefore certainly does not have to be old-fashioned to match the rural design. There are country table lamps with a modern touch. Such as the rural, wooden tripod table lamp that has a fairly modern shade. Rural living is therefore easy to combine with a bit of modern, as long as it fits within the soothing atmosphere of the countryside.

Do's and don'ts when choosing a country table lamp

Do's:

For luminaires without dimmers, use energy-saving lamps or LED lamps. Energy saving lamps use up to 80% less energy than incandescent lamps.
Choose a table lamp that matches the style of your interior.
Make sure that the temperature of the lighting of the table lamp is as warm as possible, that is, a lot of yellowish diffused light.

Don'ts:

Choose a table lamp that suits your interior, but do not just rely on the design of the table lamp. If the function of the lighting is only decorative, you can buy a table lamp purely by appearance.
Don't put too many table lamps in a small room.
Beware of dazzling (you see light pits after looking into a lamp). Orient the table lamp so that the light source does not shine directly into your eyes.
