Retro is an emerging interior style. In the retro style, the designers of the lamps are inspired by the lamps of the past. Retro lamps are therefore new, contemporary lamps based on the older styles. The advantage of the retro lamp is that you can bring the old atmosphere into your home, without having to throw the lamps away quickly because they are old.

The retro table lamp

With table lamps in retro design, we often see colorful lamps with spherical or round lampshades. Retro is a style with color; you can come across a bright yellow table lamp against an orange wall in the retro decor. That's what makes retro so much fun; with a single table lamp on a table you can create a bright corner. Colors such as yellow, green, orange and blue are popular, but there are also retro table lamps with a less striking color.

The designers of retro lamps take their inspiration from the lamps of the past to turn them into a contemporary, innovative lamp. Well-known brands in retro / vintage lighting are names such as Leitmotiv, a company that has become known for designing original lamps, including in the retro style.

Materials retro table lamp

Retro table lamps are often made of metal, an advantage of this is that they are of strong quality and can therefore last a long time. In addition to the metal lamps, we also occasionally see retro table lamps made of fabric. These lamps often have a multicolored, fabric shade with a motif.
