Correctly lighting a room is a task that often seems easier than it actually is. The lighting should be bright enough, but should not dazzle or damage the eyes. It must save energy and costs, but must provide sufficient light for the activities that take place in the space itself. There are a number of factors that influence the Lux values (amount of light on the floor) and the Lumen (how much light from the source) that ultimately determine how much LED light you need. Discover the different categories below. After choosing the category it is possible to filter by sizes and material.

Information to help you

A company hall is often a large space with a lot of lighting. Halogen fluorescent lamps are still used in many industrial halls. These lamps are less efficient and cause more energy costs. It is therefore recommended to use LED fluorescent lamps. These are much more economical and therefore pay for themselves quickly. To help you on your way, we have collected and listed all relevant information.

Lighting in the production hall

Because work is carried out in a company hall, it is not useful to have a warm white light color. This will get tiring on the eyes after a while. So you have the choice between neutral white and cold white. Because normally not much daylight comes in, it is recommended to use the light color that most resembles daylight. The most appropriate color for this is cold white (6000K). This color is not attractive, but it does work excellently as a work light and is therefore also the most commonly used color in industrial halls. Do you still have light in the company hall or do you want a slightly warmer light? Then the highbay, cool-white (4000K) is the ideal solution.

Use of LED fixtures

By using LED fluorescent lamps you save on energy costs. LED lighting uses about 50% less energy than regular fluorescent lamps. In addition, LED lamps need to be replaced much less often. This is because they last much longer. The lifespan of LED lighting is 50,000 hours. This saves costs because they need to be replaced less often. LED fluorescent lamps are available in many different color temperatures. We recommend using LED lighting with 4000 Kelvin in warehouses and workplaces. This color is closest to daylight, because it gives whiter light. This color works well, is pleasant on the eyes and keeps you alert and active.

LED High Bay lamps

High Bay environments are rooms where the ceiling is high. Special lamps are needed here, so that there is enough light on the work floor. These lamps are also efficient and last much longer than halogen fluorescent lamps. These LED lamps last a long time, so they do not need to be replaced as much. The ideal lighting for your industrial hall!
