We often get the difference between the AR111 lamp with the GU10 fitting and the one with the G53. There is no extremely large difference between the performance of both lamps. The GU10 does provide slightly more lumens. The G53 is slightly more expensive, but it is also from Philips. The G53 has more wattage options and also goes beyond the GU10. With the G53 it is also easier to mount several lamps on a transformer.
You also have the choice between these lamps to order LED or Halogen.
