Installing veranda lighting

Installing and controlling your veranda lighting can be simple when you follow the right steps. In this guide, we explain how to set up two separate remote controls for your veranda lights, so each system can be operated independently.
Tools you’ll need
For this setup, you won’t need many tools, but having the following ready will make the process easier:
- The 2 remotes and 2 receivers
- Access to the lighting controllers
- Power supply to the veranda lights
Step-by-step installation & setup guide
1. Prepare the system
Ensure both veranda lighting sets (each with a remote and receiver) are connected to power. By default, both systems will respond to a single remote after installation.
2. Reset the first controller
Press and hold the MODE button for 20 seconds. During this time, the light will dim and blink continuously. After 20 seconds, the light will return to 100% brightness—this confirms the reset is complete.
3. Pair the remote
Once the light is on, press the OFF button. The light will blink three times to confirm the pairing change.
4. Test the separation
Switch the spots on using the controller. The two installations should now be independent. If they still operate together, proceed with step 5.
5. Configure the second controller
Take the second remote and repeat Step 2 and Step 3 for the second installation.
Tip: To avoid accidentally resetting both controllers at once, unplug the controller that you do not wish to reset while performing these steps.
Final check
Once both remotes are paired to their respective receivers, test each one to ensure it only controls its assigned veranda lighting set. This setup allows you to enjoy full independent control over both lighting systems.
