Description

The chrome pendant light Evelyn is made of steel. The chrome pendant light is supplied without light sources with E14 lamp holders. The fixture needs 4 E14 LED light sources with a maximum power of 25 watts per light.

Dimmable pendant light

It is possible to dim the chrome pendant light in two ways. You can choose a dimmable light source along with a LED dimmer (not included) or you can choose to dim the steel pendant light with a smart LED light bulb. A Smart LED light bulb is dimmable with an app on your phone or tablet, this way you do not need to install a LED dimmer.

Shortening the Pendant Light

You can easily shorten the cord by pulling it through the ceiling cap. First, calculate at what height you want to hang the pendant light.

The average height for a pendant light above a dining table is approximately 150-160 cm, measured from the floor to the bottom of the shade. If the ceiling is 250 cm high, you will have 90 cm left for the lamp and cord. From these 90 centimetres, subtract the size of the lampshade to determine the length of the cord. Another guideline is that the distance between the table and the lamp should be 60-70 cm. Once you have determined the correct length, mark the desired length (measured from the bottom). Cut the cord to this line.

Pull the cord through until you see the length marking you have set. The excess cord can be coiled and secured with a piece of tape. This way, you can neatly tuck the excess cord into the ceiling cap.
