How does a motion detector work?
Install a motion sensor and enjoy the benefits! A motion detector is a sensor that responds to movement. A motion detector uses a PIR (pyroelectric sensor). This sensor detects infrared radiation and can thus recognize movements and temperature differences. Motion detectors are used for outdoor and indoor lighting, but are also used as recognition for automatic door openers. The motion detector is also called a motion sensor or motion detector.
Save energy with the motion sensor
A big advantage of lighting with a motion sensor is that a lot of energy is saved. The lamp will only switch on when sufficient movement is detected. A smart saving on your energy bill! The light only turns on when you need it. Many motion detectors also have the option to set how long the lamp is on after motion has been detected. Depending on the room where the lamp hangs, you can easily determine how long the light should burn.
Movement switch for more safety
In addition to convenience and energy savings, the motion detector also has the advantage that it provides more security around or in your home. Burglars will be discovered more quickly if a light switches on automatically when people come close to the house. Outdoor lighting with a motion sensor works well as a deterrent for people who would rather not be in the house. Lighting with motion detector can be used both indoors and outdoors.
